AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OFFamily Caregivers
For several years now, we’ve been nurturing a community of over 100,000 Family Caregivers through The Caregiver Connection page on Facebook. The community has developed into a fabulous network of people supporting one another with information and real personal experiences of caregiving.
We want to do much more for our growing community and we have heard you asking for more resources and support. This is why we have established AAFCG in which we have developed new, innovative services that will improve the quality of care you will be able to give your loved one while making your job as caregiver easier. We want to help make your lives better.
You will find that we have listened to our community of caregivers and are now providing helpful resources to make you feel connected and informed. We’ve created a Caregiver Hotline staffed by caregivers waiting to listen to your thoughts, questions, frustrations and successes. We have also constructed a Learning Center full of tips and advice on topics as diverse as Bedsores and Power of Attorney. Try a course and empower yourself with knowledge!
We’re also excited to announce that we will be lobbying Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. and advocating for your rights as Family Caregivers.
