Founded by Elizabeth Utterback in 2011, Women Reaching Out was formed to fill the void that exists after women complete state-regulated treatments and services. Elizabeth, a Licensed Certified ADDICTIONS COUNSELOR

with a Masters degree in Social Work, was troubled by the fact that after these women leave her programs, they seem to be thrown right back into the same situations that got them there in the first place.

Elizabeth’s vision is to ultimately have a drop-inn center where these women can come and connect with a support group that will help them as they transition into empowered living.

Women Reaching Out’s goal is simple: LIFT WOMEN UP! This goal is accomplished through one-on-one mentoring, monthly empowerment events, and partnership with sister organizations.
