"What’s The World’s View Of Women And Power?" - That's an excellent and thought provoking question, and not so easy to answer. IMHO it depends on many factors: Is the societal norm for a particular country matriarchal or patriarchal? Where are women respected for their contributions?
I often like to think that Golda Meir was one of the first of our gender to make a definite difference in the halls of power - first and foremost she was a teacher, but she also approached her decisions with an iron fist - very much as a mother would with her children -listening, and then dispensing fairness and wisdom as mothers do on a daily basis.
" How Can We Help To Change It?" - Let us not forget who we are. Let us govern and provide society with the same wisdom and fairness we would dispense to our children.
This is an arduous journey, but no less difficult than bringing a life into this world.
